COVID-19 Updates

updated on 07/08/2022

To our valuable patients:

Our offices are open to provide you acupuncture treatment, especially during these difficult times when maintaining your health is crucial.  We have made changes to our offices to better protect your health, which are listed to the right. Please read through them at your convenience.

Dr. Li and staff have received both the first and second dosages of the COVID-19 vaccines. As vaccines become more available to the public, we hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel. At this time, we still ask our staff and patients to continue to wear masks and maintain proper protocols to best protect yourself and others.

Let us know if you have any questions about our changes.

If you are experiencing any symptoms, such as fever and respiratory symptoms, please stay home and call our offices for a virtual consultation. We can provide herbs and herbal teas by curbside pick-up to help with your symptoms.

We hope to see you soon!

How acupuncture can help you improve your health during the COVID-19 pandemic

  • Acupuncture is effective for pain (such as neck, shoulder, or lower back pain) but it is not limited to treating physical pain.
  • During this period of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may feel anxiety, depression, and insomnia due to the stressful circumstances we are all faced with. However, acupuncture treatment can help relieve stress and anxiety, as well as provide preventative measures against viral infection.

Our Patients' Stories

In response to COVID-19, Dr. Li adjusted her treatments to incorporate preventative care. One of our patients, who has had close family and colleagues that were affected by COVID-19, still visits our office to receive treatment regularly. Dr. Li advised them to wear a mask, stay at home for 1 month, and to take herbal supplements. Under Dr. Li's care, they were able to receive screening checks and kept their general well being—despite having diabetes, hyperglycemia, and hypertension— and did not catch COVID-19. As a result, they were well-prepared and able to resume working.

For those working at home, it is common to have neck, shoulder, and back pain. Acupuncture is a great solution to help alleviate pain and maintain your overall health. In the case of this patient, before treatment they had limited mobility and difficulty moving their neck and shoulders, due to the pain. After receiving acupuncture treatment, this patient is almost fully recovered and able to stretch and move without any difficulty (as shown in the pictures on the right)!
